Peace Culture Club Facilitator virtual training
Description
The training and workshops for facilitators will focus on familiarizing them to techniques such as “Restorative Justice”, and “Harvard Third Siders” which are methods that encourage peaceful negotiations and community justice. Restorative Justice was pioneered by Howard Zehr, and the Global Negotiation Project at Harvard University developed the “Third Siders” concept. We will also employ creativity development exercises to give trainees some experience in at least three of the art forms we use in our programs. After completion of our workshops and facilitator certificate training participants have a firm understanding of how to translate conflict and encourage creativity, create equitable resolutions, and manage/organize our projects and programs using our curriculum.
