Our Humble Beginnings

How we started

Founded in January 2016, in Richmond VA., Peace Culture Club is an organization focused on creating Peace and countering the negative effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences and Toxic Stress. We are dedicated to building a more peaceful society through the arts, cultural appreciation, emotional emancipation, and personal development.

​We have 3 primary areas of operation:

 Presentation & Facilitation   

We started out and always will be focused on building bridges for community members between Trauma, Stress, and real Recovery. We build cohesion in communities, enabling artists, young and old to hone their craft and learn the nuances of peace-building as well as advocacy. There are many disparate communities throughout the country which need hope and a means of finding balance (peace).  To deal with stress and find common ground in conflict is to create Peace. To date, Peace Culture Club Artist Partners have helped organize and supported over 18 local events, exhibitions, lectures, festivals, and other arts orientated gatherings. ​
