Love Locked Down Theater Project

The "Love Locked Down" Theater Project was written and produced by Rachel Satiafa (Danita Green) who is an artist partner with Peace Culture Club. The play captures an unseen reality for many families and individuals affected by America's "Prison Culture". Through the art and drama Danita facilitates a powerful conversation around the pain suffered by the families of those imprisoned. The production challenges our social norms and the ideas surrounding America's prison industrial complex. We want to rethink the current approach to crime and punishment as a nation. This mindful piece is a great start.

We help people explore their personal identity and master artful expression, by developing their innate creative abilities. We bringing professional artists and artisans of all disciplines to local members to share their passion and inspire us. We teach our members how to properly channel their emotions into art, and also to develop confidence and critical thinking habits needed to build a strong character and resolve for peace. We encourage members to adopt a culture of peace by using creative conflict resolution as a consistent theme in our workshops, events, and projects. Working with Art Therapists when needed, we reach to create the most meaningful experiences as we share, grow, and learn about the ins-and-outs of Peacemaking.
